until 2:00 PM local time, Tuesday, June 22nd, 2021 and then publicly opened and read aloud in the GBRAA Conference Room on the 3rd Floor, Passenger Terminal Bldg., Gulfport, MS shortly thereafter. Bidders are asked to coordinate with Airport Operations (228) 863-1908 prior to submitting paper bids. The work is generally described as follows:
This project is to rehabilitate airfield drainage at the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport by removing and replacing approximately 3,800 LF of RCP ranging in sizes from 18” to 60” as well as removing and replacing approximately 15 drainage structures and installing approximately 600 LF of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) in conjunction with associated site grading and drainage work.

The contract time for the base bid is 125 consecutive calendar days, with a maximum contract time of 160 consecutive calendar days with all additive alternates. Liquidated damages in the amount of $500.00 per calendar day will be assessed for each calendar day thereafter, and $1,000.00 per 15-minute interval of runway closure past scheduled opening.

A Pre-Bid Conference is planned for this project on Tuesday, June 15th, 2021 at 9:30 A.M. in the GBRAA Conference Room on the 3rd Floor, Passenger Terminal Bldg., Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport, 14035-L Airport Road, Gulfport, MS 39503. Bidders planning to attend in-person will be required to wear a mask. Bidders may also virtually attend by calling into 1-877-431-8639 (PIN 982-713-9178) at 9:30 AM. It is strongly recommended that prospective bidders attend the Pre-Bid Conference.

All site visits by any persons shall be conducted on the morning of June 15th, 2021 immediately following the Pre-Bid Conference; meeting location will be coordinated during the Pre-Bid Conference.
